The decision everyone asks about
Online olympiads are cheaper to run and easier to scale. They also quietly exclude a very large number of Indian students — anyone without a reliable device, a stable connection, a card to pay with, or a quiet room to sit in for an hour.
Keeping GEO offline costs us more. Papers have to be printed, packed, shipped and scored. In exchange, a student at a government school in a small town writes exactly the same paper, under exactly the same conditions, as a student at a metro private school.
That is the whole point of the foundation. Everything else — the syllabus design, the fee waivers, publishing papers for free — follows from it.

GEO is open to students across CBSE, ICSE and State Boards in Classes I to X.
Two-level examination
Level 1 at your school, Level 2 at regional centres. Every registered student participates in Level 1.
Certificates for all
