No surprises on exam day. Here is the section split, the marks, the timing and the marking scheme for every band.

Junior

Grades I – III

1 mark per correct answer. No negative marking.

Middle

1 mark for Sections A–C, 2 marks for the achiever section. No negative marking.

Rules

The same four rules apply to every grade and both levels.

A wrong answer costs nothing, so an educated guess is always better than a blank.

Every question has four options and exactly one correct answer.

Classes 3 to 10 use an OMR sheet and need an HB pencil. Classes 1 and 2 write directly on the booklet.

Sheets are scanned and scored automatically, then sampled and checked by hand before results are released.
