How to register for GEO 2026-27

GEO is written at your own school, so enrolment runs through your school co-ordinator rather than a student sign-up form. Here is exactly what that looks like.

There is no direct student registration — and that is deliberate

Because Level 1 is a paper exam written in your own classroom, we allocate printed papers per school. Your school co-ordinator enrols you, which also means no family needs a device, a card payment or a stable connection to take part. If your school is not participating yet, tell us and we will approach them.

The process

What happens, in order

From your school adding your name through to writing the paper.

  1. 01

    Your school enrols you

    Your co-ordinator adds your name, class, section and roll number in the IEOF portal. There is no student sign-up form to fill in.

  2. 02

    You get a registration number

    Generated automatically and shared with you by the school. Keep it — you need it for admit cards, booklets and results.

  3. 03

    Download your admit card

    Released about a week before Level 1. Print it and carry it, along with your school ID, on exam day.

  4. 04

    Write Level 1 at your school

    On paper, during school hours, invigilated by your own teachers. Nothing to install, no slot to book.

What the fee covers

  • Level 1 paper, OMR sheet and invigilation material
  • Level 2 paper at a regional centre, if you qualify
  • Scoring, verification and your online scorecard
  • A participation certificate for every student
  • Achievement certificates for Level 2 qualifiers, plus National, State and School Topper recognition
